Aucklanders are
continuing to do a phenomenal job of reducing their water
use in the wake of the ‘Tasman Tempest’ weather event.
Yesterday, [Saturday 18 March] people and businesses used a
total of 391 million litres of water, well within the target
range of 400 million litres or less.
Watercare would
like to thank everyone for continuing to Save 20 while the
company responds to elevated silt levels in its Hunua dams
and at the Ardmore Water Treatment Plant.
