ANZAC Day
Anzac Day is a time to reflect on the servicemen and servicewomen – past and present – who have displayed courage and self-sacrifice serving our country.
For many New Zealanders April 25 is a day for reflection and remembrance, and for the Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board residents there are a couple of parades and services to attend.
Onehunga Anzac Day Parade and Service
• Parade assembly is at 9am - Corner of Onehunga Mall and Arthur Street
• Parade commencement is at 9.30am
• Service commences at 10am - Onehunga RSA, corner of Onehunga Mall and Princes Street.
• A rolling road closure is in place for the duration of the parade

Panmure/Mt Wellington Anzac Day Parade and Service
• Parade assembly is at 9.15am - 163 Queens Road in the carpark
• Parade commencement is at 9.30am
• Service commences at 10am - Panmure Community Hall, 7-13 Pilkington Road
• A rolling road closure is in place for the duration of the parade
