First Hauraki-Coromandel Business Awards being launched

First Hauraki-Coromandel Business Awards being launched

Celebrating excellence in business - that's the aim of the new Hauraki - Coromandel Business Awards taking place in September.

The awards are a joint effort between Coromandel's More FM, Thames-Coromandel District Council and Hauraki District Council, to celebrate our top businesses and to showcase what our districts have to offer.

The Hauraki and Thames-Coromandel Mayors, John Tregidga and Sandra Goudie, are very excited about the prospect of the awards, and even though there is still a lot of planning to do, they see this as a great oportunity for both districts to work together.

The districts have a combined tourism awards, so it is a no-brainer that business awards is added to the mix.

The awards are the first step to creating a business hub in both districts, providing start-ups and established business resources to help them grow.

Find them on Facebook for regular updates on the awards: @HaurakiCoromandelBusinessAwards.
