Upper Hutt’s H²O Xtream heats up event calendar for winter school holidays

Big waves, River Ride, slides, and heaps of inflatables—H²O Xtream aquatic centre is the place to be this school holidays.

UPPER HUTT, Wellington NZ, 30 JUN 2017—With school holidays coming up from 8 – 23 July, H²O Xtream aquatic centre has a series of events with something for everyone. Teentime runs every day during the school holidays from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm. TeenTime is a dedicated time when H²O Xtream is bursting full of action, including waves, inflatables and the River Ride. Although TeenTime is designed for youth, children and adults are welcome too. Friday nights are a dedicated time for youth, H²O Xtream will turn on their biggest, roughest waves, and bring out their best inflatables. From 7.00 pm, the spa is open to everyone and slides are all free.

On Saturday 15 July, H²O Xtream is hosting Xtream Toddler Time for under 5 year-olds and their parents and caregivers. Xtream Toddler Time runs from 8.00 to 10.00 am, and provides a relaxed, fun atmosphere for parents and caregivers to introduce their toddler to the water. A qualified and experienced instructor will be on hand as a guide. The leisure pool will be set up with inflatables, pool toys, music, and slides. Entry is free for swimming adults and $4 for children (including slides).

H²O Xtream is also offering an intensive learn-to-swim programme for school-aged children during the holidays. This programme offers all the benefits of the term programme but condensed into a 1 or 2 week (Monday – Friday) period, perfect for improving your skills. Book a space now!

There is a variety of activities covering every weekday of the school holidays, such as Laserforce, roller skating, H²O Xtream swims and activities, as well as lots of fun and games.
