State Highway 2 between Opotiki and
Gisborne is closed at the Waioeka Gorge following a
slip.
The slip is around 36 kilometres from Opotiki.
The
NZ Transport Agency says people are asked to avoid the area
or find an alternative route if they can.
It says
geotechnical engineers will assess the site tomorrow.
