"Update: Kuranui Road, Morrinsville remains closed "

Enquiries are ongoing tonight as Police continue working to locate the offender who shot at Police in Morrinsville early this morning.

An examination of the scene at Kuranui Road has been underway today and is expected to continue tomorrow.

The road will remain closed between Avenue Road and Scott Road until this is completed.

Police thank motorists and residents for their patience.

There will be no further update this evening unless there is a significant development.
