Arrest for Lower Moutere Store robbery
On Friday 11 August, Nelson Police made an arrest in regard to the robbery of the Lower Moutere Store on 22 May 2017.
This involved a man demanding cash from two shop workers while threatening them with a knife.
An 18-year-old man has been charged and will appear in Nelson District Court today.
Nelson Police would like to thank the public for all their assistance in this matter, and would like to reassure them that we are working collaboratively with other agencies and the community to stop this type of offending occurring in our area.
