Forest search following Kinloch homicide

Police are continuing to investigate the death of 48-year-old man Scott John Henry.

He was killed in Kinloch, near Taupo, on Thursday 20 July 2017, with his body being found at his property on Whangamata Rd.

Today Police searched an area of the Pureora Forest near the “Centre of the North Island” Track.

The search today revealed nothing further of interest to add to what has previously been found at this location.

The search today was assisted by search and rescue specialists from Taupo and Rotorua.

The search was focused on finding any evidence which can help us to determine who killed Mr Henry, and why.

This area is of interest to the inquiry team and items of assistance to the investigation have previously been located in this vicinity.
