Crown Range at Chain Bay 5 Closed Due to Slip

Crown Range closed due to slip

There has been a significant slip at Chain Bay 5 on the Crown Range

It is covering one lane and more may come down – as such the Crown Range Road has been closed until the site can be made safe and the debris cleared.

It is closed at the State Highway turn off on the Queenstown Side and Cardrona on the Wanaka side.

Please go via SH6 if you need to get between Queenstown and Wanaka.
