Search for missing boaties - update

Police are continuing to search today for two men who are missing after their boat got into trouble near Smoothwater Bay on Thursday night.

Today's search effort is being conducted by helicopter.

The Police National Dive Squad are en route to assist with the search and are expected to arrive in Haast tonight.

Updates will be provided in the event of any significant developments.
