"Appeal for information following Invercargill assault."

Police are appealing for sightings of a man after a woman was assaulted in Invercargill.

The woman was walking along Ness Street near Balmoral Drive at 10am on the 18th of September 2017 when she was assaulted by an unknown man.

Anyone who was in the area at the time or has any information that could help identify the man is being urged to call Sergeant Brent Kingsland on (03) 211 0400 or CrimeStoppers anonymously.
