Firearms incident - Hanmer Springs

Police were called to a house in Hanmer Springs at around 9.30pm last night, following reports that a person had fired shots at the house.

Nobody was injured in the incident.

The Armed Offenders Squad conducted an extensive search of the area but did not locate the offender.

A scene guard is in place at the house this morning and enquiries are ongoing to ascertain exactly what took place.

An update will be provided at around 11am - no further information is available at this stage.
