Update Tuesday AM: Search for boaties off West Coast

The Police National Dive Squad is being deployed today to areas of interest in the search for two missing boaties on the West Coast.

They are expected to focus on the areas around Smoothwater Bay and Homminy Cove.

Two fishing nets have been found on the shoreline in that area, which Police believe are likely to have come from the boat.

There are no ground crews out today.

It's also hoped the dive squad will get to the spot where the vessel went down.

The boat is believed to have lost power, so an assessment will be made to determine how that may have happened.
