Police appeal for witnesses of fatal crash in Whangarei

Police are appealing to the public for anyone who may have witnessed a crash at the intersection of Dent and Norfolk Streets in Whangarei last night.
At approximately 6.50pm a fatal crash occurred between a car and a motor scooter that had been working as pizza delivery vehicle.
The 22-year-old rider of the motor scooter has tragically died as a result of the crash.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen a Blue Toyota Rav 4 in the area shortly before the crash.
