Christmas at Auckland's Silo Park

Your Favourite Inner-City Haunt Returns to Celebrate Their Seventh Season with More Good Times for Your Summer Calendar

It’s been six years since the creation of Auckland’s Silo Park and this summer season sees it triumphantly return with an abundance of old favourites and some refreshing new treats for the whole community to enjoy - for free!

From Friday night to Sunday afternoon, Silo Park has something for everyone. On Friday, kick off the weekend with an after-work drink and food truck treat, followed by a movie under the stars, and spend Saturday and Sunday relaxing and listening to local DJs spinning tunes in the sun, perhaps with a drink or two. Silo Park has your summer sussed.

New editions this season include themed pop-up bars and food-nights, surprise exhibitions and workshops’ and for those early risers Silo Park will be open from 7am on the weekends serving fresh Kokako coffee, smoothies and a range of pastries and healthy raw food bites from Good Karma Coffee.

“This year we really aimed to reflect our community’s needs over the weekend, ensuring we offer something at all times of the day. We knew the movies were a hit, so we’re really focusing on the weekend offering with some special treats and events thrown in. Look out for elements of surprise and delight, such as workshops, pop-up exhibitions’ or unique performances or events. Now that Summer is finally here, we’re really excited!” - John Sutton, Silo Park Event Manager.

In terms of those special events, for your ultimate trinket and treasure trove don’t miss the Car Boot Sale of the Future and for dog owners and lovers alike the Dog Day Afternoon had over 800 pooch visitors last year and is destined to be a great day out again.
