"Serious crash near Masterton"
Diversions are being put in place on Castlepoint Road, Te Ore Ore, near Masterton following a serious crash this evening.
A car has collided with a power pole just before 8:20pm, about 1km north of the intersection with Masterton Stronvar Road.
Two people are injured, one seriously and one critically, and were being transported to hospital.
The Serious Crash Unit will be attending, and diversions will be put in place.
Motorists are asked to avoid travelling through the area if possible.
