Truck crash blocks both city-bound lanes on Northwestern motorway

The NZ Transport Agency advises motorists to avoid using the Northwestern motorway because a truck crash has blocked both city-bound lanes before the Lincoln Road off ramp.

On ramps to the SH16 motorway at Royal Road, Hobsonville Road and the Brigham Creek roundabout have been closed to prevent more traffic going onto the motorway.

A heavy haulage truck has arrived at the crash site and will attempt to move the truck.

However, motorists are advised to avoid the area, delay their journeys or use alternative routes to the city.
