Truck crash blocking Northwestern motorway is cleared

The NZ Transport Agency advises motorists that the truck crash before the Lincoln road off ramp on Auckland’s Northwestern motorway has been cleared.

Both city-bound lanes are now open, but there is heavy congestion and it will take some time for traffic to clear.

On ramps to the SH16 motorway at Royal Road, Hobsonville Road and the Brigham Creek roundabout will remain closed for a time to prevent more vehicles going onto the motorway.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area, delay their journeys or use alternative routes to the city.
