State Highway 1 (SH1) Mount Wellington Northbound Offramp
The NZ Transport Agency’s Auckland Motorway Alliance advises that it will close northbound lanes on State Highway 1 (SH1) at Mt Wellington tonight to remove a gantry sign.
The Mount Wellington northbound offramp will be closed from 12:00am to 3:00am and this will result in a full northbound closure from Princes Street to Mount Wellington.
To minimise disruption to drivers, the closures will be timed between 12:00am and 3:00am when traffic is lighter.
A signposted detour will be in place and drivers are asked to follow the signposted routes while work is being carried out to ensure that this section of the motorway is safe.
The Transport Agency thanks drivers for their patience, and apologises for any inconvenience while this work is carried out.
