"Police appeal for witnesses to Papakura incident"

Please attribute to Senior Sergeant Amber Stobie, Papakura Police.

Police are appealing to any members of the public who may have witnessed an alleged assault that occurred in Papakura on Wednesday 19th April.

The incident is believed to have occurred in the early hours of the morning around 1am-2am on Willis Street, Papakura.

Police believe a person who helped the victim by driving them to an address in Papakura may have witnessed the incident and are appealing for them to contact police.
