Fatal crash, Hawke's Bay Expressway
One person has died following a crash involving a car and a logging truck on the Hawke’s Bay Expressway in Hastings.
Emergency services were called to the scene near Links Road at 7.53am.
The person who died was travelling in the car.
The road is closed and diversions are in place.
Motorists are being asked to please avoid the area.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
