"Aggravated robbery, Riccarton"

Attribute to Senior Sergeant Paul Manhire

Police are investigating the aggravated robbery of Night and Day on Riccarton Road, Christchurch.

At around 4.30am three people entered the store, assaulted the attendant and stole cash and cigarettes.

The attendant received minor injuries and did not require medical attention.

Enquiries are ongoing.

Anyone who was in the area at the time or has information that could help identify the three people is urged to contact Christchurch Police Station on (03) 363 7400.
