"UPDATE: Truck crash, Allandale, Christchurch"

Power is currently on in Allandale, Christchurch following the truck crash earlier today.

A truck crashed on Governors Bay Teddington Road, Allandale at around 11.25am.

No-one was injured in the crash however the road is blocked and will be for some time.

While the power is currently on it will be switched off later this afternoon so that power can be isolated to allow for the removal of the truck.

The power outage will impact 64 households.
