Drowning at Tutukaka today
A man fell from a kayak in Tutukaka east of Whangarei at
about 5pm this evening.
He was seen struggling in the
water and raised a distress flag just south of the North
Police, and other emergency services were alerted
and the man was located in a serious condition and rescued
by Coast Guard a short time later.
CPR was carried out,
but the man, aged in his 50s sadly died at the

Obviously, sick people shouldn’t be being treated by doctors and nurses who are themselves sick and potentially infectious. Similarly, Police emergency calls also need to be fielded by people who’re feeling alert, and on top of their game. More>>
