An intensive search of Takaka Hill is being undertaken today in Nelson in the search for missing Motueka man Jason Campbell.
Despite poor weather conditions five search and rescue teams are actively searching the area in and around Takaka Hill.
Four of the teams are searching on Takaka Hill looking at areas of interest.
Included in the teams are a search and rescue dog and a cave team who are abseiling into hard to reach areas.
One search team is also focussing on areas in and around Torrent Bay.
Search efforts today are being well supported by the community who are providing welfare and catering.
Such support is greatly appreciated by the search teams.
