"Two arrested in Herekino"
A man who fired shots into the
air out a car window near Kaitaia last month after failing
to stop for Police has been arrested.
A 27-year-old man
from Kaitaia again failed to stop for Police around 1pm
today in Ahipara.
Police followed as the vehicle headed
Spikes were deployed at Herekino.
After the car
was spiked, the fleeing driver continued some distance
through a forest block before being detained.
arrested in relation to possession of a firearm, resisting
arrest with a firearm, burglary and failing to stop.
