Cuckoo's Nest launches at Ding Dong Lounge

Ding Dong Lounge presents Cuckoo’s Nest, a series of events promoting Mental Health Awareness debuting on Saturday 15 September at the inner city bar.

Each event will not only offer a variety of acts including great bands and stand up comedy, but also guest speakers who have lived with mental health issues and want to share their experiences to help others in a similar situation.

Ding Dong Lounge is a dedicated Rock bar; a well known establishment visited by musicians, comedians and creative people. “A lot of people in the Rock community heavily relate to themes surrounding mental health, whether it be through friends, family or their own experiences. Yet we all struggle with ways to deal and cope with them” says Andrew Treeby, Entertainment Manager at Ding Dong Lounge.

Cuckoo’s Nest presents an opportunity to network, socialize and find guidance and support if you require it, or simply come and enjoy the acts.

Entry is by donation with all profits being directed to a nominated charity working in the mental health field.
