One arrest following Queenstown search warrant

Queenstown Police have made an arrest in relation to a number of burglaries and thefts around Frankton.

Local officers, assisted by the Invercargill Armed Offenders Squad, executed a search warrant at a Lower Shotover property this morning.

A 35-year-old man was arrested at the address and taken into custody without incident.

Police recovered several items of stolen property from a vehicle allegedly used by the man.

He is due to appear in Queenstown District Court today on theft and burglary charges.

Police are not seeking anyone else in relation to this alleged offending.
