UDPATE: Search for missing man Ian Marshall

Attributable to Senior Constable Murray Hewitson:

The search for missing man Ian Marshall in South Otago has continued in a limited capacity this evening.

Today, there have been three boats, a helicopter, and seven volunteer LandSAR teams searching from Manuka Island towards the Balclutha township.

While the main search has been suspended for the evening, a police dog team is continuing for a period of time tonight.

The search will continue in a full capacity tomorrow.

Police are still appealing for any possible sightings of Mr Marshall on Kaka Point Road or the Owaka Highway between 11am and 2pm yesterday, September 20.

Also, Police would like to speak with anyone who walked the Blair Athol walkway between 4pm and 6pm yesterday.
