"UPDATE: Motueka investigation"

Motueka Police are continuing to make inquires after two people were hit by a car in the early hours of this morning.

Police have now completed a scene examination of where the incident happened on York Street and the road has re-opened.

While inquires are ongoing Police would still like to speak with any witnesses who haven’t yet come forward and also anyone who noticed a green Subaru station wagon in Motueka in the early hours of this morning.

Anyone with information in relation to the incident is asked to contact Motueka Police on 03 528 1220.
