10 new KiwiBuild apartments available in Ōtāhuhu

Ten KiwiBuild apartments in the Mason Square development in Ōtāhuhu will be available for public viewing tomorrow and Sunday, 3 – 4 November.

Located at 105 Mason Ave and developed by NZ Living, the two-bedroom turnkey apartments range from 64.9 square metres to 74.9 square metres inclusive of a deck area. Each apartment has a carpark.

The apartments are priced between $580,000 and $600,000 and include an oven, cooktop, dishwasher, washer/dryer combo as well as floor coverings and LED downlights.

The ballot for eligible KiwiBuild buyers opens on 5 November, and NZ Living will hold open homes every weekend in November until the ballot closes on 30 November.

Head of KiwiBuild Stephen Barclay says the turnkey apartments at the Mason Square development are tangible evidence the Government’s KiwiBuild project is gaining early momentum.

“We are getting some ‘runs-on-the-board’ with the sale of 18 turnkey KiwiBuild homes in the McLennan development in Papakura. Lucky ballot winners in the Mason Square development could be living in their very own home by Christmas,” he says.

A further nine KiwiBuild dwellings are under construction at Mason Square and are scheduled for completion by June 2019.

KiwiBuild is on track to deliver the first 1000 KiwiBuild homes by mid-2019, a further 5000 homes by June 2020 and 10,000 homes in the year to June 2021.
