Fatal crash, Cashmere

Police are attending a fatal crash on Dyers Road, Cashmere.

The single-car crash was reported around 10am this morning.

The car was found at the bottom of a bank.

The Serious Crash Unit is attending.

A body has been recovered and the death will be referred to the Coroner.

Traffic management is in place and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
