"Water incident, Raglan"

A child who went missing in the water off Raglan this afternoon has died.

Coastguard and Police were called to the incident at about 3:30pm.

A rescue helicopter was deployed to conduct an aerial search of the area.

The child was found in the harbour at about 5pm.

Emergency services attempted to resuscitate them but were unsuccessful.
