Get in quick for our sustainable funding workshops next week

We are pleased many organisations in our district have taken the opportunity to find out where to start with having a reliable income and funding by registering for the sustainable funding workshops next week. You still have time to register if you haven’t already to help your community group or organisation develop a plan.

This is a unique opportunity as the workshops are usually held outside of our district.

“The workshop is packed with practical ideas that can be easily implemented and it is designed to help organisations develop opportunities that are ‘best fit’ for them,” says Laurna White, our Communications and Economic Development Group Manager. "We're providing the venues to bring this opportunity to the Coromandel and subsiding the workshop so you can attend at a discounted rate of $50."

In this workshop you will discover:

• The essential first step in creating a sustainable funding plan. The importance of laying the right foundations.

• The seven key income streams for community groups. What avenues are right for you and how can you use them effectively.

• The difference between donations, sponsorship and grants. Are you approaching each one in the right way?

• How to get more people helping with your fundraising efforts. Why is it the same people doing all of the work?

• Simple tips and tools for raising more money, more often.

Exult is one of New Zealand’s leading training providers for the community sector. Its mission is to provide training and support that inspires, equips and re-energises community organisations and the team pride themselves in providing practical resources in everyday language. Exult believe that people (and organisations) thrive when they are given real support without all the ‘fluff and jargon’ – so that’s what they do.
