Further charges laid after Manurewa incident


Police have charged two men following an incident at a petrol station in Manurewa earlier this month.

Police were called to reports of an altercation at the petrol station on Great South Road on Monday February 11.

A 23-year-old man and a 24-year-old man have been charged with assault with intent to injure and will appear in the Manukau District Court tomorrow, February 26.

Last week a 54-year-old was also charged with four charges including assault and dangerous driving.

He is expected to appear in the Manukau District Court on March 4.

Police are not seeking anyone else in relation to the incident.
