Rising attacks from far right a pre-conference topic

The PSA’s Out@PSA network welcomes participants arriving in New Zealand for next week’s 2019 World Conference of the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association (ILGA) in Wellington.
"This Sunday (17 March) we are looking forward to co-hosting a pre-conference gathering specifically for LGBTI trade union activists and working class allies," says Caleb Gorden, Out@PSA network convenor.
"One of the issues that our one day World of Work pre-conference will cover is the rise of organised hate groups and the violent impact they have.
"There will be a focus on formulating an action plan to build collaborative opportunities for things like combatting rising attacks from the Right".
ILGA is an international organisation with representing the interests of more than 1300 LGBTI groups from around the world.
The ILGA World Conference coincides with the annual Wellington Pride Festival | Tū Whakahīhī e Te Whanganui-ā-Tara.
