• Opening day and time this weekend likely to you tomorrow (Friday) morning.

Work completed on 10 April 2019
• Very wet weather overnight Tuesday and all of Wednesday, with no access to the riverbed possible, so completion schedule delayed slightly.
• Bailey bridge launch successful to the north side.

Work programme for 11 April 2019

• Begin placing the new Bailey bridge on piers and install bridge load distribution beams.

• Start building the new bridge approaches.
• Finalise planning for all work needed once the bridge has opened. This includes pedestrian access, guardrails and lighting.
