Police are seeking the public's help to locate 81-year-old Dianyanchi Cai.

Mr Cai was reported missing at around 2pm this afternoon, Thursday 25 April, when family realised he wasn't at his Mount Albert address.

He has not been seen or heard from since.

Mr Cai was last seen wearing a grey jacket, blue jeans, brown shoes and a cowboy hat.

He is diabetic and Police have concerns for his safety as he is without his medication.

Members of the public with information on his whereabouts are urged to contact Auckland Central Police on 09 302 6400.
