Two men arrested in connection with two Porirua aggravated
robberies
Porirua Police have arrested two men in
connection with two aggravated robberies over the past few
days.
Detective Sergeant Brent Clark of the Porirua CIB
says two Waitangirua men, aged 17 and 19 years face will
appear in the Porirua District Court tomorrow.
"They are
charged with the aggravated robbery of the Venus Chinese
Takeaway Shop in Cannons Creek on Sunday evening and the
aggravated robbery of the Chicken Shack in Mungavin Ave
around 1am this morning."
Detective Sergeant Clark says
the victims in both of these incidents were left shaken but
unharmed.
"We're pleased to have made quick arrests, as
these acts of violence in our community are not
tolerated."
