"A post-mortem examination has been carried out today on the body of the deceased. Preliminary results indicate he died as a result of a stab wound to the chest area."

A scene examination has been underway for much of the day and will continue over the weekend.

D/S/S Cooper says, "Regrettably, these types of violent incidents can have tragic outcomes, as we have seen in this instance. We are continuing to investigate the connections between the deceased and the two accused."
