For full timetable details go to www.maxx.co.nz. Details will also be available at stations.

At Puhinui station KiwiRail is replacing the aging footbridge that passes over the railway tracks. Pre-cast parts of the new bridge weighing approximately 10 tonnes will be placed in position using a small mobile crane. It is due to be completed by the end of April 2012.

Other works this weekend include general track maintenance; overhead wire installation for electrification and graffiti removal.

Auckland Transport advises the public of the annual rail network closures during the Easter period. Rail buses will replace trains during the closures except for Good Friday when there is no train service at all. More details and timetable will be released in April.
