From today's official launch of Alice, the tunnel boring machine for the Waterview tunnel project in Auckland.

9 year old Branden Hall - the Auckland schoolboy who won the naming competition for the tunnel boring machine (he chose Alice), and the Transport Minister, Gerry Brownlee, switch on the tbm for the first time with the Mayor of Auckland, Len Brown.
