Serious Assault in Riccarton
Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious assault about 1am last Saturday the 23rd of November 2013.
Detective Sergeant Richard Quested says the assault occurred on the corner of Riccarton Road and Clarence Street near the Windmill Centre where the male victim was attacked by three other males and knocked to the ground.
The victim suffered a broken jaw which required surgery.
One of the suspects is described as wearing a white hooded top with the hood up over his head.
Police are appealing to anyone in the Riccarton Road, Clarence Street area at the time that could provide information to contact them on 03 363 4880 or anonymously via Crimestoppers ( 0800 555 111)
