Club calls for expressions of interest in its
Restaurant/Café space DATE:
Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club is seeking expressions of interest for the lease of its restaurant/cafe space on the first floor of their building in Oriental Parade.
“It is 12 years since we reviewed our restaurant offering and with the current lease expiring in March 2014 we are taking the opportunity to review what we offer in this space” explained CEO Dean Stanley.
“As the population of the inner city continues to grow we want people to think of the Cub and the Clyde Quay boat harbour as their 'other' place, a meeting place on the harbour's edge, a comfortable place to play, to do business, to socialise and to relax in, right in the heart of the City's iconic waterfront.”
“We have created new categories of membership such as general and business club categories which are designed to complement our existing sailing memberships and encourage more people to use our facilities and the boat harbour.”
“We have been working with the Wellington City Council on plans for this section of the waterfront including creating more public space and amenities, upgrading the marina and establishing the Wellington Ocean Sports Centre as a key mechanism for connecting Wellingtonians to Wellington Harbour”.
“We are now looking at the restaurant/café space to see how best we can integrate it with our projects and strategic goals and help makeWellington an even more vibrant place to live and visit”.
“We look forward to seeing what ideas come in”.
