Porirua/Hutt Valley: Accident on SH58 and partial road closure
Wellington, 24 December 2013 - Emergency services are at a vehicle crash on SH58 between Pauatahanui and the Hutt Valley. A single vehicle has lost control and gone over a 15 metre bank. At this stage the driver is trapped in the vehicle and the Fire Service is cutting them out now. The driver is believed to have only minor injuries.
As a result, the Porirua to Hutt Valley traffic is going to be diverted via SH1. The Hutt to Porirua lane is open but extreme care is required and delays will be expected.
