Man shot in chest - Kelston - Waitemata
A 39 year old man has been taken to hospital with a single gunshot wound to the chest after being shot at a house in Kelston.
Police went to the house in Sabulite Road at about 11:25pm after St John Ambulance received a 111 call about the incident. A 39 year old woman was taken into custody and is being interviewed by Police. A .22 rifle was recovered from the house.
A 19 year old woman, believed to be the daughter of the man and woman, was also at the house and was unharmed.
The injured man is reported to be in a serious condition.
