"Dog killed after hit and run"

Christchurch Police are seeking witnesses or information to help identify a vehicle involved in a traffic incident outside the Richmond Workingmen’s Club on Monday 30 December at 6.40pm.

The vehicle mounted the footpath and struck a small family dog being walked by its owner. Sadly the dog died at the scene.

Vehicle is described as a blue Holden commodore 1984 model.
