Emergency services
are attending a two-car crash which occurred at 10.05am in
the Waioeka gorge between Opotiki and Gisborne.
Two Status 2 & three Status 3 paitients are being transported to Whakatane Hospital.
The road has been closed at the Opotiki and Gisborne ends temporarily.
The Tauranga Serious Crash Unit is investigating the cause of the crash.
