Northbound motorists are advised to avoid
Waterloo Quay and Aotea Quay in Wellington this evening.
A spillage of an as-yet unidentified liquid has blocked the Aotea Quay onramp to the motorway adjacent to the Interislander ferry terminal.
Traffic is backed up to the Railway Station – and motorists are advised to take alternative routes out of town.
