Police seeking witness to hit and run car v cyclist

Dunedin police are seeking any witnesses and/or information regarding a hit and run crash that occurred at the MacAndrew Road and King Edward Street intersections at about 1.45pm on Wednesday the 23rd of December 2015.

Police are looking for anybody that witnessed black stationwagon hit a cyclist in the intersection and drive off without providing assistance to the cyclist.

As a result of the crash the cyclist is suffering from a broken arm.

Police are also looking to identify and speak with the female good samaratian who stopped and assisted the cyclist at the scene.

Anybody with information that could assist police with thier enquiries are asked to contact the Dunedin Station on 03 4714800, anonymously via crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, attention to Sgt Ed BAKER.
